Or he'll say... "Mmmm...! What is this? Come here, woman!" LOL...
I think he'll like it. Really!

And by letting him read it, it'll make it so much easier to 'break the ice', so to speak, rather than having to deal with the embarrassment of saying it, or talking about it. He'll read it and there will be no words that will need to be said. That'll be all it'll take. And then just go with it!

Ok William - I'm going to ignore the timing (and the content) of this post as it might connect to anything else I know you might have read, umm, recently, since that would be flattering myself way too much (but I'm smiling....)

You all are great - I mean it. Your support is buoyant, truly. Gotta put the little ones down and then I'll either post or PM you guys the poem. God - can I really call it a poem if I wrote it? Nah - I only do nonfiction essays.

Listen here, you filthy Lesbo: I wanna read the poem, too.

God knows I've written some awful poetry in my lifetime... so even if it IS awful --which I highly doubt it is-- I wanna see.

It sounds all too intriguing, having read everyone's response to it.

And Ray, you're a homo, homo.

PM ME, WOMAN!

Kate,

How's your mom?

I saw my mom today, Joanne. It was the saddest day of my life. She kept saying, "I want to go home. Please please please, let me go home. I'll sleep on the floor. Why did you leave me here? Please get me out of here. I want to go home."

Have you ever read Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe?

Yes, that's my Laura when she was a baby. The most beautiful little girl I've ever seen in my life. She's a teenager now, but I love this picture.

Kate, my heart goes out to both of you. There's just no good emoticon, or way to say it except that, for what we're worth, you've got this board-load of support.

In the face of what Kate's dealing with, how can I be embarrassed about a silly poem I dashed out cuz I was missing my honey? Here goes - but I'm sure I'll delete it in a while -

You keep me up at night

And I wish you didn't.
But I can't help it.
And I think about the same positions
And new ones
Every time.

Coiled, curled, prone.
Arched, outstretched, entangled.
Never too many possibilities.
And yet never a single one I think will ever happen.

Because I'm only sure of
What I feel.
And what I won't do.
Or what I imagine I won't do
When not so deep down inside,
I want to.
