How do I place a link in my post so that, for example, I can direct someone to some other thread/post? Thank you.

Boy, you got real smart during those two minutes! I suspect I wasted my own two minutes, damn it.

What, you're not posting the solution for everyone else who reads this thread?

Oh... sorry- I realized you just click on the little icon with the globe (the world) and a segment of chains (chains- link- get it? that's how I figured it out) then you add the url of wherever you would like to take the dear reader. I hope you've identified the icon I'm refering to- In the 'quick reply' box, it's the third from right on the top of the textbox. Yeah, the one with the world and the two segments of chain... Argh! I'm really not good at this...
Anyway, look what I can do: Please go to the new thread I've started located below:

Top of the globe. Practic'ly
If you want to display a "text-link" rather than just the URL:

Write whatever you want your link to say, mark the word/s, and then simply click the Insert Link icon (the lil' globe).

 Easy-peasy, but it took me awhile to figure out :D
