Only if it's about 'cooking the books'. Otherwise it would be off topic.

There is a whole market out there for cooking/baking articles. I have a friend who freelances a ton of stuff that is cooking related. She's always having recipe/articles published in magazines. Is there not a forum for foodies here at AW?

I have a great respect for people who cook.

When I cook, there is often a lot of smoke and death. So I'll stick to bagels and smile in your general direction. :)

I too have great respect for people who wield knives and run if they point them in my direction.

Sorry Rhymegirl, I didn't mean to make a mockery of your question. I've had mockery before, it tastes like chicken.

Boy, Kathy asks for a Cooking forum, and like magic, within ten minutes one appears. (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=181)

This will be the shortest lived poll in AW history.

Thanks Mac... I added a few foodie markets. I have a whole bunch, so I will add some more later. I hope this is what you meant, Kath. I can keep the list going as I am constantly looking for markets for a report I do...

Great idea.

I love to cook, I love reading about food and recipes and reviews -- so I'm gonna be a regular. :)

I think this is a terrific idea.

Didn't you think one would be a great idea awhile back? Then RG goes and asks for one and *POOF!* there it is.

It looks really cool. I love cooking. In fact, I've been thinking of doing some yeast bread baking. Hmm...Yeast bread.

Oh I have, on numerous occasions. I must not be as persuasive as Kathy is, I suppose. She made it happen with only one sentence!

Do it, Jen! Kathy won't mind. She won't even notice, as she's busy looking at chicken recipes in that other forum.

No, I'm not.

But I don't mind if you lock it. It's up to you two.

Naw, we're just teasing you. :)

This thread is actually a great place to help steer folks to the new forum. I wish we'd had something similar when the AW History forum went up a month ago. I just noticed it yesterday...
