I'm the one who gave birth to her, dang it! How come she got all the best of me? I didn't even know any of that cool DNA was in me. Genetic pilferage!!

.. my husband just walked by and said, "Don't worry. It isn't you, it's me." :D

lol,

Hello nybx4life,

Your profile indicates that you are the same age as my daughter. Did you get the best of your parents to? :)

If that was the case, I wouldn't have any acne.

Skin is overrated. I know this because I have wrinkles and age spots and ... eh, like I said, skin is overrated. :)

I feel your pain, Gehanna. My daughter has my hair. Or, more exactly, the exact shade and texture I had before I went gray. Sometimes after her bath, when I'm blow-drying her hair, I get the urge to scalp her. :D

I feel the same way about my daughter who is 24. She's got it all! 24 yrs. later I'm still looking at her amazed. I keep reminding myself that's why I feel and look so worn out because I gave her all my good stuff and then some. It makes me pat my little DNA on the back. Actually, I'm so darn proud of my kid that she's my hero. :)
