No, no, wait...hey! That's no marshmallow. Not a moon, nor a space station.

I think, yes, yes, it's robeiaiaiiandsometimesy's "moistened bint":

Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony...you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you...if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away.

But, shouldn't there be a comma after "strange women"? Anyway. Clearly, Rob shouldn't write when he has his Pernod.

I'm pretty sure that's a cover for a secret underwater facility operated by a megalomaniac intent on taking over the world. If only 007 were here!

Maryn, who liked the last Bond movie

Wow! Are you 150 miles north of Dutch Harbor on the vast Bering Sea?

Wow. I've had my air conditioning running for over a month now.

Different worlds.

Holy refrigerator, Batman!

Wow! This is more than slightly impressive! I wonder if there were any polar bears wandering around on it. Since 2/3 is below the water surface, think about the fish-eye view.

Is this a joke?
Did you take the picture?
Has it happened before?

I'm fascinated by vast lumps of ice. I'm Australian and we don't have much water where I'm from.
When you fly from London to New York they fly in a curve towards the top of the globe, and in the winter you can see the sea all frozed up beneath you.
I find it extraordinary.

No joke... there are currently around 500 bergs going past Newfoundland.

It happens every year at this time :)

And yes... I took that picture, from my bedroom window.

Tide and wind brought ice into the harbor this morning. Got this nice pic of a small berg outside the front window.

Bugger me, that is fucking amazing.

You moved to Newfoundland from where, if you don't mind me asking?
I myself lived in Tasmania (another remote outpost) for nearly 10 years and moved to the big city.

I moved from rural Scotland... about six months ago.
