What happened to Shadow Ferret?

I was thinking about him yesterday. I've noticed he takes a break from here now and then, so I expect and hope he'll return soon.
It's not unusual for Ed to take a break. He hasn't posted on his blog or commented on the other ones he usually frequents. (I swear I'm not stalking him, we just visit the same places.)
I assume he's very busy.

I haven't checked Ed's blog in awhile. Right now he's probably getting an ominous feeling that strange internet people are obsessing about him.
He's probably off stuffing his face with fast food and ratcheting up his blood pressure. You know, like a good little ferret.

I just don't feel like a writer any more.
I've written all of 300 words THIS YEAR.
I think I've come to realize I've only been fooling myself into thinking I can be a fiction writer.
