Things are looking up somewhat. The thing with the play worked out--not perfectly, but definitely well enough for me. My kitten got really sick today, which was super scary, but it looks like he's going to be fine, so that's good.

Kitty #3 used to sleep in front of the fireplace for hours on end. The ends of his ears burned off.

So we took him to the vet, got some meds, I saw a really cute guy (but I didn't get a number! waaaaah!) and so on.

And we came back home. And let him out.

And the first thing he does is run in front of the fireplace, plops down, and goes to sleep.

Seriously. Wtf? Stupid animal.
