Greetings from a California Newbie
Hi all,
I'm a teacher who's pursuing a long-standing (or sitting) pipe dream of writing children's books -- particularly middle grade and YA fiction. Nothing substantial written yet, just notes, random scenes, character sketches, etc. Most of my writing has been spent writing reports and newsletters -- so trying to find my non-technical/non-teacher writing voice. Hopefully it is in here somewhere.

Been researching writing, lit agents, querying, and publishing, and this forum was mentioned several times. Enjoying learning from all of you, and looking forward to learning even more.
