Speeding Star Looking for Boy Manuscripts (shorter word counts)

Just thought I'd share this with you guys, hoping someone will be able to submit there. They are a new imprint of Enslow looking for boy mss. with shorter word counts at a reading level of 4th grade to high school.

You're not kidding when you say shorter word counts. They want a max of 12,000 words.

That counts me out.

Damn. I thought you meant short, as in under 50k. They don't even want novellas.

You could probably write that in a couple of days if you wanted to.

I just queried them about short story collections, and for more specifics about payment.

I'm also starting a thread in BR&BC for this publisher.

Has anyone submitted a manuscript or sent an email via their online form? I clicked the "send me a copy" box and nothing happened. I tried submitting a manuscript and no acknowledgement. I upload the manuscript and there is no "submit" button.
