I'm not sure, Karla. I'm thinking of ways to give it a sort of edge without changing the entire foundation.

And, Taylor, I'm not sure. It's just like, nothing really stands out. If it were in a crowd of other Epic Fantasy books, there wouldn't really be anything in it that would make it very different...

If you can make it high concept, usually that'll really help. My three really original SNIs are all high concept I think - CMRH with the matchmaking Robin Hood, To Find Love with the dreams to find each other, Tattoo Love with the tattoos representing the MC's dream guy.

I just tried to write one-sentence pitches and I think I did a good job lol. I won't post them on here though

ETA: That's so weird. Is it the de.soleil one?
