Still working on the first draft of a memoir. Question: I am thinking of making my prologue into my first chapter. Then I would have just a good introduction and an Epilogue. Are there any set rules on Introduction, Prologue and Epilogue? Must you have a Prologue if you have an Epilogue?

Sat Nam! (Literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

There's no set rules on any of this. No, you don't have to have a prologue if you've got an epilogue. If it works to make your prologue your first chapter, you'd be wise to do it. Just do what works.
