New idea on how to get my main character in position to do his character thing while at the same time showing what kind of guy he is just hit me in that half asleep state of putting children to bed.

Now I have to rewrite the my first 2k or so. But no problem. I don't have much more at the moment anyway, and it fixes the part I was having trouble with at the same time.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm sitting at 52k and I think I'm JUST NOW beginning to figure out my MC's voice. So, you know, rewrites are gonna be fun.

Dunno, I'm waiting for the punch line. Maybe Ali chickened out. No need for that, making fun of Debio is a way of life around here. I'm used to it. I figure if it makes someone giggle like an 8 year old, it's more than worth a little embarrassment.
