Has anyone ever submitted an essay to Salon.com, Slate.com or TheRumpus.net? Just curious about your experience. Did you get a reply, and if so, how long did it take?

Thanks for the replies. I just got a rejection from Salon after 2+ months. Haven't submitted to the others yet, but I'll post the results.
I submitted to Salon and Slate and never got a response. Then I had a story picked up by the AP that Salon ended up running so I did get in in a roundabout way.
