Finally Dropping By

I've heard of the Absolute Write forums for years. After Google Alerts notified me that one of my projects was being discussed here, I thought it past time that I joined the community!

I'm a creator and creative services provider working in a variety of media. As an author, I've been traditionally and self-published. I currently have over a dozen titles in the marketplace (written, edited by, or contributed to), and I'm pleased that readers have seen fit to grace me with nearly fifty five star reviews on Amazon.com.

I'm keenly interested in the changing roles and responsibilities of creators, the disintermediation of content, and the ever-refining nature of the relationship between creators and consumers.

I'm looking forward to some interesting discussion here!

Thanks for all the hullos, gang! I admit I spent most of my time here today discussing my own thing (over in another part of the forum) but I'll keep an eye on new posts and comment when I have something (hopefully) useful to contribute.

Oh, I see. Well, the whole point of my finally joining was to comment on a discussion other folks started about my Storyworlds Magazine project... but I drop in once a week or so to see if there's anything I can usefully contribute to.

I don't know if I'll ever do any critiquing here... story consultation is one of the things I do for a living, so paying gigs take priority..!
