I know that 25 agent rejections is nothing compared to some of you others out there, but I reached it yesterday.

I am taking a break in my querying to go over (again!!) both my query letter format and to cut some more from my novel (I started out with 147,000 words, down currently to ~ 140,000 -- trying to hit 125,000)

Not a fun milestone (believe me, I know)... I think a break is a good idea. All that obsessive mailbox-watching (or inbox-watching) can make a person insane. I think I'm at 15 or so rejections right now on my most recent novel, although I'm still waiting to hear back from a bunch. So I'll be taking a break right along with you soon!
