De-lurking

I just started posting and never did one of these. The one user was sweet enough to randomly greet me and I remembered. Hi, all!

I've been lurking for a little while. I was looking for a beta reader and realized I'd be better off finding a reliable, helpful partner if I was actually part of the community.

I'm a college student. The kind of writer who has tried to stop a few dozen times but still scribbles swordfight-scene notes in the margins of her Calculus notebook. Can't say I'm good but I certainly ~~should be~~ am committed.
