You should totally watch it. It's SOOO good. The first few episodes of season one aren't that great, but it gets better later on. SO MUCH BETTER.

Personally, I'm not much of a VD fan. I prefer shows like Sherlock, DW, 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls, and the occasional flashback to middle school with shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Secret Life of Alex Mac, Strange Days at Blake Holsey High, and others.
