New Years Goal

My goal is to get more BIC time. A lot of times I sit at my desk and end up playing Civilization III (It's just for a minute, I tell myself, and then it turns out being two hours), or checking AW boards, or reading the news online or sending emails...

I'm going to commit to actually WRITING every day instead of just THINKING about writing.

My goal is to get less BIC time. I spend almost all day in front of my computer and don't venture out into the "real world" hardly enough. That's what I want to do more of this year.

Par-tay!

I want to wake up one morning and discover that I wrote the damn thing in my sleep.

For 2007, I want to finish my current WIP, keep submitting, write and hopefully finish another novel.

I must say I'm kind of proud that I got most of my 2006 resolutions accomplished. For 2007, I am determined to get the darn WIP finished. Serious. That's really the biggest thing I want to accomplish this year.

goal for 2007

My goal is to find an agent.

Which may be a tad ambitious. But, the novel is nearly finished (just finishing up final draft), and unlike my last novel, which I sent to half a dozen agents with about a year between each and then gave up, I have decided this one will not be languishing. So, my aim is that every time it comes back from an agent, it will go straight out to the next one on the list.

And I decided to aim high, and find one who'll take me on by the end of 2007.

Sell novel and screenrights for a million. That's about it.

My goals for 2007:
1) to complete my NF WIP;
2) to submit it;
3) to get it published
