Yeah, my uncle's family lived there for several years 
If you've ever been to the Cariari's golf course, their house was behind one of the holes.
Most of the people I met were from work (Motorola).
Where are you in CR? I love all of the beaches and rain/cloud forests. Such an amazing country! With amazing people

I saved money for almost two years during high school to visit Costa Rica after my senior year!! It was such an amazing experience, and amazing people, although we did not get far off of the beaten tourist path, except for a visit to a local school. I hope to return their someday in the future. How is the country fairing in the troubling economic situation??
Well, win some lose some. The basic economy (called the canasta básica) is stable, our inflation has really been constant but we depend on the U.S. pretty much. We're doomed if they are.
