I have, I have! I re-checked and tinkered with the book and just now sent it to Authoress for forwarding to the outed Secret Agent.

The irony is, I'm a horrible poet myself, yet the first thing I ever sold was a poem. On the plus side, it was a horror poem rather than a horrific poem...

And yes, mistress, I didn't write. Well, nothing but paying articles and not as many as I would have liked. But I was packing to come home for the holidays. And then driving. And then shoveling out the car. And various other things....
But I can write a quick poem now:
Roses are red,
The violets are dead,
When the brothers get hold of me
So am I.
... What? I said I was a *bad* poet.

If wasn't irredeemably bad at poetry, I'd be game for the contest, too, Haggis. As it is, I'd just be happy to see what folks come up with.
I've gotten a whole 600 words on a new short story this week, and that's it.
ETA: If I toss in the Choklit Covered Leto Twins Pr0n I've been writing as a carrot for ScarletPeaches, my word count doubles to 1190. Woot! I do get to count that, right?

I didn't write all weekend, but with good reason!
In the meantime, I had another short accepted on Saturday by Sonar 4 Emagazine!
This morning, I made up for it with a roughly 1k word blog post about why I didn't write, thanks to the heart attack scare I had on Friday! Yeesh!
