I made a coffee, came online to check out a few things, and promptly forgot about my coffee. Do you guys and gals ever do that?

Thankfully I didn't forget it for so long that it went cold, but still... That's not very observant of me!

actually, today, for the 2nd time in a week, I've left my coffee pot on with only a bit of coffee in the bottom.... at least it hasn't been too dire - just seriously scorchedness.

What is this? Coffee horror stories?

I just wrote about 1500 words of something. I feel all writerly now.

Going to watch a DVD now.

I'm watching the Facebook updates from my local weather station and seeing the tornado watches and warnings approaching my area.

We had storm here, but it wasn't too bad. It was worse to the south in Alabama.

Apparently my neighbors tried that, as they were shooting incessantly when the last storm system came through.

Maybe it got a little too close to their moonshine still?

Or maybe they were just having a family feud.
