4. If I were writing this scramble many years ago, the first section might read "AUTHORESS."
1. Author / Novella / Actor who played title character in film version.
2. Some useful facts: (a) The novella's title includes the word after the comma, but that word is usually omitted in discussions about or references to the book. (b) There have been numerous TV adaptations, etc., but only one major movie. (c) One word in the scramble is an obvious clue. Two others are semi-clues. Enjoy!
Great, I scared off the last player. Lol, sure that's not really the case, maybe. Thanks for playing, anne. Nymtoc, I would've given you a run for your money there but got here forty minutes too late. Maybe this will keep me on my toes...
Nymtoc,
You sly dog! It took me practically an hour to make that darn thing up! I don't know if this is my game -- I like the rhyming ones better. I'm trying to think of a new game that involves writing poems. Any ideas?
My phone is so slow, I just got done posting and deleting the repeat when nymtoc posted. I guess mine was a little too easy. Anne, sometimes we go 12+ hours and 6 to 8 clues to get one.
