I've been using this site quite a bit when I want to reference something and I figured it's about time I joined so I can ask my own questions. I'm glad I became a member. :)

Take some time and read the Newbie Guide and the Stickies found
at the top of Forum pages. They are your best guide to learning about
Absolute Write.

Don’t forget to read the FAQ regarding posting pictures at AW.

In fact, we have lots of brilliant FAQs check them out.

Members who want to start a thread in Share Your Work to have work critiqued need
50 posts. Don’t make a mad dash to reach your 50 posts. Take some time to greet fellow newbies,
critique other members’ works, or join a discussion.

Greetings and welcome to the watercooler :welcome:

Take a wander around the various forums, there's lots to see and lots to learn, and even some fun threads too. Come along and pop on over to the Newbie Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Week thread at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.

Don't forget to read the newbie guide, and if you want to know what all the buttons mean check out this thread.

Hi, everyone. I just joined as well. I'm not an author (unless you count the fanfiction I write in my spare time), but I do read. Lots. And lots. And I review what I read on my Goodreads account and my book blog.

Nice to meet you. :hi:

"So welcome Kenderson, we have reserved you a space in the theatre. If you'll just follow me." he says smiling at the way this person is dressed.

"You may want to put a sweater or something on, it gets a bit chilly, especially where you've been selected to sit. Alright, we are here. When you go through those doors. No not those ones...these ones over here...when you go though these doors, just show them this golden ticket and they will escort you to your seat promptly.

We ask you to remain in your seat, and do not ask any questions until the end. Now, now, just move on in." he says as someone else who looks lost waves a green ticket in his face.

"He's going to be lost...he has a green ticket." he leans over to whisper in Kenderson's ear..."Green ticket holders don't get any escorts." backs away again.

"So when you're done your indoctrination, please feel free to look around and read and give critiques to your heart's content...I shouldn't have said that....I should not have said that."

"It's part of the indoctrinations speach. Ronny will be livid if he finds out I said anything to you. Just sit there and pretend you didn't know ok? gotta go...bye"
