Grits are only edible when cooked in bacon grease. If prepared any other way, it's like eating wood shavings.
A sprig of cilantro on the side is always a nice touch too.
I had to look this up because I cook with fresh cilantro and I use coriander in my pickling spice. It appears they are from the same plant, but cilantro is the leaves and coriander is the seeds. Either way, the englandlanians have once again proved their superior civility in embracing this plant of the gods.
