Sorry to hear about DD#1, AC. I hope she heals fast and doesn't try running any marathons - for a while.

I could just do what they do to horses . . . shoot her.

There was a funny Far Side cartoon one time of a veterinarian school equine class. The treatment for anything wrong with a horse was: Shoot horse.

I have been pondering this question: at what point do you give up on a pair of jeans? After 20 years? When they're so faded they're practically white? When there are rips? When the zipper fails to work?
