Hi. I been writing a long time. Had a few stories published early on, wrote a novel about Abe Lincoln and me, didnt get it published, drank myself near to death for a couple decades, got sober, kept writing, buncha plays, a second novel, got an agent, didnt get it published, got another agent and another novel, named MIXED ANIMAL, which is going to be published by MacAdam/Cage next June. If you love writing, Brothers & Sisters, never give up.

Thanks, all, for the welcomes and the info. I've known that feeling when a site goes & then that feeling when it returns: Oh thank God now what was it I was so panicked about not being able to write or read? I plumb forgot.

Thanks again, all. I guess it could be taken as discouraging rather than inspiring that it took so long, but I prefer to see the glass as half full of blood, sweat & tears. Ew.... Add a slice of lemon & a sprig of mint.
