I have a gift book that is ready to print and I am lost for a catchy title. It is a humorous gift book for moms. The book begins with an image of a pregnant mom and starts out with "Your presence swelled my belly as I carried you, nine long months...."

The book takes the reader through the trials and tribulations of a being mom with the last page being the big punch line. The book also has instances where the dad always has the easy life while the mom does all the work/child rearing.

I have "tested" the book on many moms and they all crack up, thus I think the book will be a hit and resonate with moms the world over.

However, I have had people ask, "Is this a book a mom gives to her children?"

No, it is a book that one mom would give to another mom.
But, I do not want to name it "Mom to Mom" or "From one Mom to another", as though titles seem boring/lame.

One woman suggested I name it, "If you've ever been pregnant....." and I will use cartoonish font, of course,
and then add a line under it that says something like "from one mom to another mom"

One woman said I should name it, "Your big head came out of my body and you haven't shut up about your dad since!" Okay, funny, but much too long.
I am looking for a winning title. If you come up with the title, I will be acknowledging your wit and humor in the book by giving you credit for the title of the book.

Okay, hopefully I have shared enough to give you an idea.

My book will be similar in size to the small Hallmark gift books.
Thanks!

If You Thought The Labor Was Tough

Labor's Just The Start

The True Life Of A Mom

Why Is The Kid's First Word "Daddy"?

If You Want A Kid, Get A Goat

Getting Your Goat
(I particularly like this, because it works both in a sense of getting your child and your child getting on your nerves)

Thanks, KosseMix! The first one made me smile! It is very fitting to the book! I like the goat one too. Okay, going to run these by the person who is helping me make this critical decision. I will keep coming back here to see if anyone else has a suggestion! Will let you know! Thanks again!

How about "Yet another collection of cliches about put-upon moms and worthless men"?

Seriously, does EVERY "humorous" portrayal of parenthood have to lead to shabby representations of dads as lazy, detached, inactive men who "always have the easy life" while moms, and only moms, do all the work?

Sorry, but that just makes me ill. I and my male friends are not part of that stereotype--in fact, I can't think of a single dad I know who is--yet that seems to the default go-to humor about dads in books, commercials, sitcoms, etc.

Hey empowered, if it were not true there would much less humorous portrayal. Sure it is not 100% true, as there are men like yourself, and my son, who is also a single dad. My son has raised his daughter from infant on, thus the book is not written about him (you). On the other hand, my daughter has a husband who thinks his job was sperm donor only, thus the book gives her and women like her a bit of comic relief.

Mom to Mom Resuscitation?

Don't mind me. It's late. I'm tired.

(That last one was just a comment. Not a title suggestion. Umkay.)

Kay went to work at 7:00 p.m.
At 1:42 a.m., she was given a thirty minute lunch break.
At 5:02 a.m., she thought of a really cheesy book title.
It is presently 6:22 a.m. in her time zone.
She works 12.5 hour shifts.
What time does Kay get off?
*snicker*

"Yes, nine freaking long months..." And under it. "Good luck!" (Or whatever happy sentiment you'd like to give.)
