Steps back from the thread...

This is the really graphic link, I'm gonna post a duplicate in the OP.

Mods need to add to The thread (WARNING: DISTURBING VISUAL IMAGERY)

Is it a bad sign I was able to read through all that while eating cheese and crackers (the squeeze can kind) without any problems?

I don't know if it was a bad sign, but I had no problems eating while looking at it either. But then, as I mentioned earlier, that's not unusual. It's rare that something on a screen can make me push my plate away. Why, I don't know.

tt42 trivia: When I worked for a porn company years ago, it drove my boss absolutely batshit that I was capable of eating my lunch while I was editing a video. I never did understand why it bothered him so much...but it was endlessly amusing for me. :D

Heh. It used to completely freak out the office people when the equine assistants would eat in the large animal treatment room, too -- often right after one disgusting procedure or another.

I've done that. I don't think my friend has ever recovered from the sight of me eating a piece of pizza shortly after carving open a horse's abscessed - and very gross - hoof.

I usually would wash my hands first. If I had time and there was hot water.

It wasn't below me to eat at a horse show with dirty hands (hey, when you're running between classes, a little dust on your concession stand hot dog isn't going to kill you), but I did draw the line at eating after getting something that belonged IN my horse ON my hands without first washing them.
