I'm a newly self published author working on a second volume due to come out by this summer. Working on the rewrite right now. But I hope to receive helpful advice here to hone my writing skills to make my second volume better than my first.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Welcome! self-published? I have been thinking of taking this route but in all honesty, it scares the crap out of me. Do you think it was a good choice?

Good luck with the second novel!!

I think it was, despite my regret that I did not make more of an effort to query to agents. Self publishing was easier than I thought and my completed paperback came out the way I wanted it.
