Once they start, then the muse gets to start being rewarded, gradually, with that sip of beer, coffee, scratching that itch, etc., etc. I don't let myself stop until my goal has been reached, even when Im typing away at the bar (where, believe it or not, some of my best work gets done).
Um, I'm back. I got alcohol poisoning on Saturday night, and am still feeling gross but back at work. I got some story ideas but I think I forgot them...
To tired to live... Someone inject me with zombie juice. No one will notice the difference...
Everyone would notice Lily! here *hands lily 4 no doze and a liter of mountain dew jolt* that should keep you for an hour at least.
Chin up...it's bound to get better!
Do you want any left over psychiatrists? I think I still have some left in my fridge.
I like the Dew. Thanks.
Mmm... cold psychiatrist for lunch. Maybe on a bed of spinach with snow peas and sliced portabello mushrooms.
Don't forget the dressing...raspberry vinaigrette or french?
Bon Apetite!
Raspberry vinaigrette is a crime against humanity. And raspberries.
A little seasoned rice wine vinegar will do nicely. Some homemade rye as well.
Oh, heck, there's enough for all. Dig in everyone!

I have a quick question: any and all answers are welcome.
If I have a poem that is actually horror, and I want to post it in SYW where would it go?
Horror or Poetry? It's kind of gruesome, but it is a poem. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
I think poetry, Hinny, and just say in the thread title that it's horror.
Hinny, I seriously doubt you'd disappoint anyone no matter which forum you posted the work in.
*hands Laurie a napkin and 3 chocolate truffles* for just being you!
*takes a sip of the wine*
Thanks!

Everyone, I just posted my first story to F&SF this morning. It was, of course, "The Light Of An Oncoming Train" after cutting about 250 words. Now comes the hard part - the waiting for rejection.
Tomorrow, "The Interview" goes out, probably to Black Static or Necrotic Tissue.
Your illustriously-silky-furred mistress tigeriness, does that count as production goals?
Truffles! Loves truffles....
Thank you!
Nothing like virtual chocolate and virtual booze...
Funny, it's always more potent online...
