Welcome, uh, Will.

I would love to know what genre you write in as well.

My first novel is MG/YA, though the elements are more YA, as it includes some profanity and violence. It's about bullying.

Have you published, or are you working on your first novel (if it is a novel)? I would love to hear more about your project!

Thank you for the warm welcomes! I write in MG, am represented by an agent, and my first ms is currently being shopped. I am at the heart of editing a second MG and know that I will need some good and experienced eyes to go over it, who have a nack for story. I have never been a part of a critique group and I have an itchy feeling that if I joined a good one, my writing could improve quite a bit. Thank you! You all are so friendly!

Count me in, iWill. When you need a beta-reader, I am eager to assist. I am not overly experienced, but I've already read and either reviewed or critiqued the works of a half-dozen of our AW brethren.

Maybe we can do a swap? I critique yours if you review mine?

I wish I could offer critique, but don't feel competent enough yet, I'm trying to get some practice on a few hundred words on the syw board, but compared to what others can come up with I'm not very detailed yet. :)

eatfruit, MG is middle grade. Traditionally, the audience is 8-12 year-olds, though there is often upper middle grade that tends to run somewhere around the 11-14 age group.
