Meet Stewie and Angel, my new Chihueys.

They're rescues from a puppy mill. She's between 5 and 6. He's about 4. Very possibly Mom and Son. We've had them a week as of tomorrow. Slow but steady progress. And worth every bit of it.

More blessings to the group that rescued them and the family that fostered them for six months. They knew they had to go as a matched set so they waited until a couple (me and Hunny) found them. How those rescue folks can give up those animals I have no clue. Much respect for them.

Shakey, that's Stewie. He totally looks like Yoda. I'm not set on the names yet so that is a possible change.

Regdog and I both knew we had our new pups coming so it's a great time for us. She should have named her new pup "Haggis" though.

Kudos to Haggis and Hunny for taking those little guys in. I rescued a Peke from a puppy mill (he was 3, so he was a stud) and he was in horrible condition and is still having physical problems because of it. Otherwise, he's a happy, healthy, wonderful little dog.

Hope you and yours have the same (or better) story to tell in a few years.
