I had a lot of difficulty understanding what he was trying to say. He was puzzlingly incoherent.
How about addressing the actual point the state senator was making? (Seriously, I'd like that, because I don't understand what it was. He's talking about the difference between a lone male in a confrontation, and one involving women and/or children, but I don't quite understand his argument.)
