Ah. I see we've turned this into a genealogy thread.
Well, okay. I'm three quarters Chihuahua and one quarter Pit Bull. Bad attitude and strong jaws all rolled up into one pretty package.

and personally, I like cats. I like that they are aloof and independent, and while I like dogs if I had to choose I'd go with cats.
They're obviously smarter than dogs anyway. Case in point, dogs can be trained to find land mines, whereas your average cat would turn and walk the other way.

I like them all, I just don't want to feed them all anymore. I'll stick with the wildlife that's taken back over since my dog passed away. They are totally self sufficient, except for the feral cats that were left at my garage by their lame mother. They like to live in my kitchen window hoping for spare scraps. And Mom is back sniffing around looking like she's about ready to pop again. I may become a cat stalker. (
