If I ever have kids, I'm going to home school them and not allow them any hoomin contact until the age of 21, so that they grow up completely normal and stuff.

What a night, what a morning . . . (major computer problems).

I really do need pie.

I have a new chainsaw. I thought about using it on the computer.

Oh, well, some days it's just like that. I was up half the night because I just couldn't leave it alone ("I'll try . . . ").

If I ever have children I'm going to make sure they are always on their leashes and clean up after them when they go poo in the park.

I like almost any of the fruit pies or cobblers; cherry, apple, blueberry, blackberry, peach (it's hard to find a good ready-made peach pie because of the peaches they use). I like pecan pie as well, but I have to have a glass of milk with it--it's so rich.

Hm. I make apple pie. That's the one thing I can do well. That and chocolate chip cookies.

I made some of those cinnamon rolls from frozen dough the other day. I give them a thumbs down.

My Grammy taught me how to make those from scratch. They're wonnnnderful.

I'm getting inexplicably hungry for baked goods.

Thanks for the support, my friends. The nice thing about those 6th graders is that I could leave them at the school. :D I think this school has problems I can't fix on my own. It's a suburban school in an upmarket neighborhood but because student numbers from the area are down, kids are bussed in from the nearby 'informal settlement'. (Basically shack-dwellers.) As you can imagine, the mix isn't working too well.

I did bring one thing home with me. Strep throat. I think. It feels like I've swallowed a roll of barbed wire. Yuck. Schools are germ factories.

I could do with some ice-cream. :)

I like sweden's version of cinnamon rolls. THey put black pepper in them. It sounds way grosser than it actually is.

Gail you should gargle salt water. Back when I didn't have insurance, I did that every time I thought I was getting something like strep. It numbs it out, if you can manage doing it without gagging. :D

It's really greener than that photo shows.

The area is famous for being used by Indians/Native Americans.
