Yeah. And I think what works for you at one stage of your writing life isn't necessarily what will work for you at another.

Looks like it's my turn to open up the Pit bar this morning. (Because the bar here opens at 8 am.) Downside to being the first one in: I have to clean up after the hellhounds. I do wish they were hell broken.

I get crazy when I start to read ratios like 1:4. You should have 1 good response for every 4 rejections. All I can think of is, wow what the hell is my ratio? I've reworked the query and MS to death. I don't have the will to change it anymore. If this last round doesn't get some good responses. I'm myself drowning in the maggot champagne!
