Okay, now that I know how to do it, I'm going to try to post some pictures instead of links (thanks, Dama Negra!) I'll figure out the photobucket thing later...

Here's one of us Christmas 2005 with our dog Sandy in front of the fireplace:

Hey, Dama, you're a little kid. What's this all about?

She's cuter than a speckled pup in a red wagon.

Also...I wasn't aware that Mexico was so slanted. This explains the immigration problem—they're not coming here voluntarily, it's the gravity that's making them fall in.

Everytime I look at the picture, I fall off my chair from leaning to the left too far. Opps...just did it again.:)

(And I'm assuming that you can figure out who the friend is, by the title on the sign...)

I think I read the word "fish." Does that mean Frank?

Yep, you got it! It says, "Fish Clan," and tells about the native Canadian "Fish Clan" that apparently inhabited this area.

Since we're speaking of fishing, here's my son and I on his first fishing trip two weeks ago. Notice the cookie in his hand...I had to keep giving him cookies so he wouldn't throw everything in the water, including himself.

This a fun thread and one that I think bears stickying. Melina agrees so I'm going to tack it up.

For your mocking pleasure, I'll post a pic of me taken 30-some years and 40-some pounds ago.

Dama,

A piece of advice from my wife - never date a musician. They're nothing but trouble. ;)

Course, I showed her. I turned into a writer.

You can say that agin. I didn't only date one, I married one. My first husband was a professional cellist, and he was trouble from day one.

Lol, I'm a writer and he's a musician (he plays violin, guitar, bass, piano and keys)... Hmm... Sounds like a bad idea :)
