RIP Don...

I didn't know that he had anything to do with the Monkees and the Archies, because I was a really little kid at that time. But I have some amazing memories of watching "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert" in the 1970s, every Saturday night on KCOP Channel 13 in Los Angeles. Don showcased some great bands and I always had a good time watching 'em.
