My friend is a videographer and thinks I should put my book onto a DVD
with narration (better than those old things with bools and cassettes).
Does anyone think this is a relatively good idea?

Also, is their an illustrator out there who is willing to be involved because I need to find someone who can afford to wait til we both sell some of them.

I was going to do this with my children's book. Even though it is easy enough to do, I've not gotten to it over the past few years. Procrastination.

As a marketing technique, I don't think it would help. But a DVD can be duplicated and given to all the kids of friends and family.

Depending on what kind of book this is, yes, it's probably a good idea. Better still if you could program it so that it could be played as a film or on a CD player with just audio. Actually, I think this would be a Video CD, technically.
