Ugh.

I can understand wanting to get away from all of that.

And when I say I can understand it, I mean that I can't understand it, of course.

Unless you can understand it, in which case I can.

*applies hairspray*

I don't understand it at all.

It looks like your face is being attacked by a bear. Don't spray it, you'll provoke it!!!

It's been a bad week so far . . . getting glass stuck in my foot, local politicians knocking on my door, presidential debates, and tomorrow they are coming to start on my roof. I am leaving home.

I guess it's all relative. I feel ill-treated if I accidentally buy "Belgium beer" made in Colorado.

Night, night!

To be honest, ac, I'm surprised the EU haven't sent Colorado a sternly worded letter about this beer scam they've got going on.

ROAR :D

We ignore France's wine labeling laws as well. We're just rebels.

Come to think of it, we just ignore France.

You could come to Paris, Tennessee. The fishing is great; two very large lakes in the area, plus a wilderness area about the size of Bermuda.

Yeah, but it's also home to the World's Largest Fish Fry. You can find that in Paris, France!

Sounds really tempting... But I'll stick with France. :tongue

Or Italy! I'd love to spend a New Year's Eve in Venice. I read somewhere that they do this huge event in Venice for NYE. Kind of like a giant masquerade ball. So it'd be sort of like Halloween and NYE mixed together. :tongue

I'd love to go to Italy. As a child who snuck into her mother's romance novels, I always thought I would fall in love with an Italian man.

Yeah, let's go to Italy!

Oh yes, oh YES!!!! I love, love, LOVE italy. Been there twice in three months, nearly a month in total. I must move there. I am about to extinguish all my dreams of moving to America in favour of Italy.

Cliff, you can have all the pasta and pizza in the world and ac, you can fish in ant of the lakes in the north.

And we shall all be oh-so-happy :D

Viva Italia!

Italy is awesome (I think)!

Buon Giorno. Va bene. Lupo e pecora. In boca al lupo. The caciatore catches the giaguaro...or something. Salve!

I learnt some Italian in High School. I could never remember the nouns... Back then I knew a lot of the verbs, and their forms, and the pronouns, but only a few adjectives and nouns.

Now I can't remember a whole lot.

Io mangio pane al il ristorante, ma non i funghi.

I *think* that's correct... Maybe. It's been a while.

I vote for moving to Greece (after I become a rich and famous writer of course). :tongue

I lived there for 4 years and I love the country. I'd love a house on the beach, somewhere where the landscape is a mixture of mountain and sea.

ETA Congrats Archebird on the new job! :)

Greece is another place I'd like to go.

I'd love to visit some of the old ruins for the ancient Greek Gods. Some of them have inspired characters in my stories. Also the ancient Egyptian Gods. :)

So... maybe we should do a tour? France, Italy, Greece, Egypt... Where next? :D
