This link might be helpful, if I understood the question correctly.

That is helpful, but I was more worried about sharing the title of my book (or the cover image) and having somebody find it online and pinch it with me having no way to prove that it was originally mine.

That's okay Tom. Not everyone gets it. Sometimes I greet people by using figtitious stories and scenarios in my greeting. As if there is an actual Water cooler.

Anyways here here it comes...the boring one liner...

Welcome TomW22.

Thank you both and thanks everyone else again!

I was going to post my question about the picture/copyright/title thing above in a new thread but I can't decide where would be an appropriate part of the forum to do that!

Honestly, I wouldn't worry. Firstly, most people here are pretty good natured and unlikely to do anything but think 'Damn, that would have been an awesome title for my book!'. So the chances of one of the few people who wouldn't think that being in the process of writing a book that would fit your title are pretty low.
Secondly, it doesn't much matter. As this link shows, there are many books with the same title. You can't copyright your title. This means that, if someone did copy it, they would be perfectly within their rights to do so, but similairly, you would be perfectly within your rights to use the title anyway.
Thirdly, chances are that any publisher you go with will want to change the title anyway.

Oh, and welcome to the forum, fellow Milton Keynesian! :D
