Teens Writing for Teens, the 5th

I'm still in California. But the place I'm camping is generally hotter than where I live. And when I'm at home I have a fan, where as right now I don't (and the AC in my trailer is frozen over).

It's amazing how quickly you can write when iTunes is playing your favourite music.

I find I write quicker with no music.

Anyone interested in doing some MDW? (Or whatever Mid-Day/Friday Night Writes are called now? Clearly I don't come on here enough these days. )

I need some motivation for my muse!

Okay. Irene time! By midnight we are expected to get tropical storm winds. By 8am hurricane winds. Irene should last until Sunday night here and we are expected to lose power for several days. No Internet for that time! Awful.

Eh... Irene wasn't too bad down here, definitely seen worse. (I live in North Carolina) The media has milked this a lot. Unless you guys are really, truly, horribly unprepared, you should be fine. Either that or I've just become accustomed to the occasional hurricane that I've really stopped making a big deal about it. XD

Nevertheless, be careful! I understand that NYC isn't prepared for a hurricane or even a tropical storm, and this thing is looking like it will literally pass directly over NYC, so I'll keep the people of that city (and all others effected, of course) in my thoughts. Good luck!
