There is always a line for Susie's cakes, pre-licked or otherwise. Like you, most of us are also ready Thanks to the time zones, I am usually in line when most of you are asleep (except Syd and n-f, both of whom don't seem to need sleep). Only problem is Susie's in that same US time zone and asleep so i get the stale-ish cakes but they're still yummy.

I beginning to suspect that I've got some kind of bug--the flu kind, I mean. Not bad enough to keep me home but it's not much fun after three days either.

I haven't heard too much about flu here this year. It varies a lot from year-to-year. A couple of years ago it was so bad that they closed some of the schools.

It struck late in the year around here. Just my luck. LOL

I used to always get a flu shot, but I haven't for the past three or four years. I got a little irritated the year there was a flu vaccine "shortage". I thought they handled it very badly.

Honestly, my mother used to tell me that.

Mom: You're going to get sick eating all that pie.

Me: If I do, can I have some pie to cheer me up?

I'm going to toil at some wordage. Of course, the dumb bell neighbor just fired up his lawn mower which in turn makes my daughter's dumb bell dog bark endlessly. So much for a peaceful atmosphere.
