Jackassed. I like that.

In other news, I stood up for myself again today. Dude thought he could attack me from all sides. He failed. Most of it was twisted jackassed facts. My patience got a bit thin at one point but my boss was feeling exactly the same way in that moment and said so.

I don't have any full garden pictures, but my One Dollar roses are blooming. They're roses I got for a dollar at a fundraiser at one of the assisted living places my grandmom was at before she needed more care.

They turned out to be very nice roses! I posted them to Facebook in a public album.

Oh! so if the link works, this is a photo of the ballista! I'm the person on the left, though you can't tell. Also, I'm in borrowed Japanese armor (though the hakama and kosode are mine). I'll eventually have stuff closer to what the gunner is wearing--14th Century English armor. But with a yellow arming jacket.

It really is a giant crossbow. On wheels.

Hello friends!

I got 5 hours of sleep last night. That is much better than 3. But still, my body thinks it's unnatural being up at 2am. I'm going to jinx my self when I say this but I believe the baby might sleep for me tonight.

It took a week or so for our dog to warm up to the new puppy, but I think they've decided to be friendly. I hope. They're having a rather bitey romp in the middle of my living room floor. Breakfast and a floor show!
