yeah... Still wouldn't want to go there, ya know? Cause like... Groinal superpowers.

Hum. And apparently "groinal" is actually a word. Who knew? :)

Lol. Well you learn something every day... Never thought the word "groinal" would be among 'em though.

Heh. Max, it looks like New Scotland in some spots, I swear.

I've always liked the way Newfoundland is squished together in English and shortened to New Land elsewhere. I mean, originally it was "New Found Land", what the hell was Cabot smoking to decide that was a good one?

Heh. I spose most people just default to "vaginal".

When I had an actual group of friends instead of, like, two, that was actually used in the same context as phallic on occasion. "I love the colour of that hat, but the top looks SO vaginal!"

Also mons veneris.

Just rolls off the tongue, wouldn't you say?

Use it and when people give you an odd look, just tell them you are a cunning linguist.

did you find a frog mold to make chocolate frogs? That would be cute....

that butterbeer actually sounds pretty good for a cold night of ediitng...

I wonder what this apt is going to be like in winter. The patio door is awesome, but... I wonder if it will be terribly cold. And my bed is right near it.

Ugh, I've been thinking about that, too. My bed is about 2 feet from my patio door/bay windows. At least the bay windows are double glass panes, but all that cold glass is not going to keep this place warm.

A local candy place makes chocolate frogs. :D I'll have to get some sometime soon.

It stays cool in here because, no matter how hot it gets, the front has no windows and the back is heavily shaded; also I'm on the bottom floor, so there is a patio above mine, and so I don't get much direct sunlight

Oh well, I do have a small heater in my apt. I don't think it will cost much to run, and it's right by my desk, so that's good.

It's just miserable to be cold all day long. Last winter was the worst winter of my life. Incredibly cold for our area, plus we had no heat in our building. Then I had to come home, and I didn't run my heater because I was living in that other apt, and it was taking every dime I had to just pay rent, there was no money for pg&e. I would come home, and sometimes, I just climbed into bed to try and get warm. It really worked away at my spirits.

I hope this year will be better.

Stick some cream soda in the microwave and pretend it's butterbeer. :D

I am suspicious of the yumminess of this thing. *looks suspicious*

I hope this year will be better.

I remember your woes. I hope this year will be much better for you, weather-wise, work-wise and home-wise. :)
