Greetings Writers!

Ny name is Star Spider and I am...a writer!

I write mostly speculative fiction (I just discovered that term and it's perfect!) and I have a rough draft of my first novel awaiting a full edit (with a new novel brewing). I have also committed myself to writing a short story a day for as long as I can keep it up, based on prompts I get e-mailed from sarahselecky.com. So far it's been five days and I am going strong!

I am excited to get involved in the writing community on the boards and learn about other writers, their struggles and their successes! I have written for years and finally I have decided to take it seriously and try to get my work out there!

Thanks again for all your welcomes, tips and general greatness! I am definitely still working on my story-a-day project, although I cannot put them online if I want to publish them! Overall it is going well but I am not going to stress if I miss a day here or there! I look forward to participating in the community!
