The stock has not done very well since it was offered to the public last week.

Shorting is a technique of profiting when the price of a stock goes down (rather than up). If someone knows what they're doing (and few people do), they can make a small fortune in a short period of time. It can be risky however.

Ohhh...

You'd probably get along with my dad pretty well. He used to be obsessed with the stock market. Now, not so much, but I think he still dabbles.

If I ever have money, one day I'll dabble. Coke! That's where it is!

I've already got a pesky cat. He sneaks into my room when I'm not looking and hides under the bed. Then when I lay down (to nap, to sleep, to read - whatever) he'll scare the crap out of me by jumping on the bed.

And when he wants to be patted, he can get a bit forceful. Like, "Oh, you're not going to pat me? Alright, I'll just bite your nose."

In other news, pasta was good. Too much though - I couldn't finish it! Oh noes!

My back is still sore.

Sore backs suck. My neck's been sore for about a week (though hardly sore much right now).

Y'know what is the worst thing for sore backs and necks? Washing dishes!

I'll stand there for 20 minutes or so, looking at what I'm doing, so my neck is bent forward. This eventually makes me REALLY sore, neck AND back.

Stoopid dishes.

I'm great (tired) but great. I just took my allergy medicine and my eyes stopped itching, so I'll probably have fun with that by dramatically skipping through a field of pollen without feeling the urge to claw out my own eyes.
