For some odd reason (probably because I never post there) I just noticed tonight that posts made in TIO no longer count toward your post count totals.

My question: Is this true for OP too? Did Jenna announce the fate of OP somewhere? I can't find it...sorry, I'm kinda tired tonight. :)

Yep. Tis true. I think it's in a sticky at the top of one of these pages.

Huh. I did announce it about OP, too, but... where did...

OH! I remember now! I had combined it with a different announcement that turned out to be announced too soon, so I deleted it!

Yes, posts on the OP board also don't count toward your post count totals.

I'll now stand back in case there's a mass flouncing. ;)

Can I flounce in jeans or do I have to wear a dress?

It's just not the same without the ruffles, is it?

A little more gusto, please. Perhaps a rousing and insulting parting shot? Followed by the appearance of six jbal sockpuppets?

Oh, sorry. ;) Often when someone flounces, he or she reregisters under new names (often to defend the flouncee's reputation). Those new usernames are then termed sockpuppets.

So if you're going to flounce, I'd appreciate if you'd do it with all the flair you can muster!

Unique, you can flounce in jeans, but only if you're wearing a bonnet.

Oh, God. I'll stay.

Okay, OFG. Just tell me you never had to wear one of those vile Easter bonnets with the elastic under your chin. (Usually 2 inches too short)

I'd rather be beaten.

Those were bad. But the thing I hated most was footie pajamas. Thank goodness I eventually got the power of speech and begged my mom to cut the feet off.

I like that word "flounce". Maybe I'll write a poem about flouncing.

I never had to wear one of those vile Easter bonnets with the elastic under the chin... but I DID have to wear a pioneer-style bonnet for an '89er's day celebration when I was, oh, about 10.

But I discovered, quite by accident, that those goofy sun bonnets really ARE good for working outside.

As long as you stay in the back yard and no one's peeking through the fence...

Bad? They were AWFUL! I couldn't breathe with my feet trapped in those things... and can't, to this day, stand to have my feet covered up when I'm sleeping.

Even in the winter! ;)

Yes. Awful.

Especially if your footie pajamas are 2 inches too short and you have to walk around hunched over. And heaven help you if you have to see the man about a dog in a hurry ...

 You had a thing about things being two inches too short, didn't you? Meanwhile, mine were too long, so I'd have trippy, sweaty clown feet.

JDCrayne, I think I saw a member flounce yesterday after just 9 posts. If she can do it, by golly, you've earned it!
