so...is the nickname an animal? color? person? plant? organism of any kind?

I'm just asking because this scramble is chock full of names.

SOME RHYTHMIC / WOODE NICEGUI / MALEJ SELLEBS / PANNANY VALKNAP

1. Person / person / person / person
2. Clues in scramble
3. All these persons bore a similar sobriquet in different eras--presented here chronologically.
4. One of the scrambled surnames is a near synonym of the real surname.
5. The sobriquet is a title followed by "of." I said "similar" instead of "identical" because what follows the title is different for each. The title is invariable.

In that case, the names I have might be some help or not to other unscramblers... The King of Pop - Michael Jackson, and The King of Rock n Roll - Elvis Presley... if these two are correct, then I am stumped with the rest of the letters. If these two are incorrect, then I am just stumped (so far).

You are correct. You just have to go back a few decades before those two to find the other ones. I realize that for a child like you that may be difficult, but if you think of musical styles that came earlier and consult Mr. Google, you should find the other two Kings.

*this clue should suit you unscramblers: why? because I like you/ wish you were here/ country standard with twang/ "...and break ground" as sung by a singing-songwriting fiddler
*EDIT ALERT* through further googling, I found that the first song is missing a five letter word..so without changing the scramble, I'm just going to post it in this edit. The missing word of the first song is MARCH and it goes at the end.

Got the middle section(I just know I do), me thinks another clue is in order for an antidote.

DEADLY NEEDLE / SIPPING CAN NOT STAY / CORROSIAN RIPCALK

1. Movie / Play / Novel
2. The theme is fairly obvious. ;)
3. Generic / often administered over a lengthy period / does the job super-fast
4. The movie was adapted from a novel, but it is better known in its cinematic form. It features a well-known creepy star. (Hint--I saw the movie on a Tuesday.)
