4 cans refrigerator biscuits (about 40)
1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup pecans, raisins and/or coconut, if desired

Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Pour sugar and cinnamon into a plastic bag and mix.
Add biscuit pieces, several at a time; shake to coat well.

Place pieces in a buttered tube or Bundt pan until all are used.

Sprinkle layers with nuts, raisins or coconut.

Bring brown sugar and butter to a boil in saucepan. Cool 10 minutes, then pour over top of biscuits.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Allow to cool 15 minutes before removing from pan. Turn upside down to serve.

Let's see... I posted a preview chapter from Hatchings to my blog and finalized the cover design for eventual release via Smashwords. I'm deep into the final edit of Hatchings and I redid the website I'm building for a business client (he's still not happy with it, but we're going in the right direction)...

I want Boston's muse (or a reasonable facsimile thereof). :)

Hiya Soap,

May I suggest a little fire to get your punk to behave or cook him as may be your choice...

I  him. Thanks, DL.

Oh, and--I wrote 300 more words today. Can I count them for this last week? Making it 800/1000 rather than 500/1000?

Paaaaleeeez. :)

Sleep... Those little slices of Death. How I loath
my mom used to make it all the time.

(yes. it really is called monkey bread)
Have you ever made Amish Friendship Bread? It's awesome.

I wrote about 250 last week, and I'm 2/3 finished with my March Horror Prompt story.

GOAL finish Prompt story this week.

Are you TRYING to distract me away from my work? Dearie me, there is not a part of that boy's anatomy that I don't want to bite...

Anyway, I've ID'd my problem with Tom's script - the mid-point go-for-it, no turning back, mind-f*** moment. Tom is security-guard at this haunted building, and has become obsessed with solving this kid ghost's murder, braving the other, more threatening spirits he sees, and is not listening to his friends who think there is more to the haunting than meets the eye. (Oh, as if I would write a script where there wasn't). Tom needs to stay so he can keep seeing the kid and getting clues to the murder, and because he really has to keep this job. So should the midpoint be something that threatens his ability to stay in the job? Or should it be something that threatens his ability to LEAVE the job? Because the other ghosts are getting stronger and his friends are afraid for him here and WANT him to leave. Must decide, must decide, must decide...

I think I'll gaze at Tom for a while. That'll help.

Whew! I finished the reformatting of Hatchings today. All 46 chapters and the epilogue are now reformatted to fit with the Smashwords requirements.

Next up is to complete the final edit on this work and then it's off to be posted for conversion and publishing as an ebook via Smashwords.

I can finally see the light at the end of this 3-year long tunnel.

Good for you, Greg! I know how you feel about that long haul, so well done indeed. Hope it all goes swimmingly.

I've spent more than 3 years on FREETS, my horror screenplay. Knocked back twice by the UK Film Council, but the second time with a free script doctor thrown in cos they liked it a bit, quarter-finalled in Page International, put away by me in despair for almost nine months - Now I've 'just hit send' on a query to an agent! Eeek.

I know I should have waited til the betas finished reading, but I'm a believer in sod's law. Just BECAUSE I didn't wait, they'll want to see it, I bet, whereas if I'd waited and tweaked, they'd tell me to bugger off.
